What makes this soother so special?
Most of the classic soothers come with round or cherry-shaped mouthpieces that are way too large and apply too much pressure on the still soft upper jaw.
It gives way, deforms, and eventually becomes narrower than the lower jaw. Orthodontic corrections often become necessary at a later stage to enable the child to chew with a normal teeth alignment and swallow pattern as well as to breathe and speak properly.
But we have good news: at the age of about 12 months, such negative changes can be actively counteracted with the Curaprox soother in sizes 1 and 2.
Our soothers sizes 1 and 2 allow a return to a healthy swallowing pattern. These soothers can correct existing malocclusions (e.g. crossbite) and promote a favorable development of jaw, palate, and teeth alignment.
We recommend the Curaprox soother:
• for babies from 1–2.5 years: size 1
• for toddlers older than 2.5 years: size 2
For your child’s safety
Check the soother before offering it to the baby. Pull the sucking part in all directions. Please dispose it immediately at first sign of damage or defects.
Only use special soother straps that comply with EN 12586. Never attach other straps or cords to a pacifier, there is a risk of strangulation.
Do not expose the soother to direct sunlight or any other heat source. Furthermore, never place it in the cleaning bath for longer than recommended, as this could do harm to the sucking part.
