Here's how to brush your teeth correctly–the short version  

• Hold the brush like a pen. 
• Place the filaments half on the teeth, half on the gums.
• Tilt them toward the gums.
• Brush with small, gentle circular movements, preferably without any pressure at all.
• Repeat this on all three tooth surfaces (inside, outside, top).
